1. Who We Are

Scriber (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a platform that provides access to practitioner-sourced workflows as executable, API-native tools. We are operated as an independent product. Questions about this policy can be directed to hello@scriber-ai.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign in using a supported authentication method, we receive your email address and name. We do not receive or store your password.

Usage data

We log each workflow execution: the framework run, timestamp, inputs you provided, and the output returned. This data powers your run history and our internal quality monitoring.

API keys

If you generate an API key, we store a hashed representation. You are responsible for keeping your key confidential.

Billing information

Payment details are processed entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never your card number or bank details.

Connected data sources (Pro)

If you connect a third-party tool (HubSpot, Linear, Mixpanel), we store the OAuth access token and fetch data on your behalf when you run a workflow. All connections are read-only and minimum-scope. You can disconnect at any time from your dashboard.

3. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and manage your account.
To execute workflows and return results to you.
To enforce usage limits and manage your subscription tier.
To display your run history and enable side-by-side result comparison.
To monitor platform reliability and improve output quality.
To send transactional emails (billing receipts, usage limit warnings). We do not send marketing email without your consent.

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party processors for infrastructure (hosting, database), authentication, payment processing, and AI-powered workflow execution. When you run a workflow, your inputs are transmitted to an AI provider to generate output — they are not used to train AI models. Each processor operates under its own privacy policy and data processing terms.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and run history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties except the processors described in Section 4, as required by law, or with your explicit consent.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@scriber-ai.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies

We use only session cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, encrypted storage, and row-level access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
